Hélène Delprat

First Catalogue Raisonné anchored to the Blockchain

Inspired by litterature (Ovid’s Metamorphoses), by cinema or by radio, Hélène Delprat develops through a daily practice and using altogether drawing, painting, photography, archives or video, a body of work filled with self-derision, some kind of book of Hours, both dark and sensitive at the same time where fiction and documentary intertwine.

Digitalisation

Technology linked with Art

Digitalising a catalogue allows the keeping of a permanent record of an artist’s legacy. Keeping track of cataloguing information, provenance, exhibition and literature history is a straightforward process. It gives the possibility to generate digital certificates issued by the artist or their estate and verify them online. Users can check the artwork information and source, conduct research, and verify the history of the work’s acceptance by the publisher of the Catalogue. It's an important reference point for art advisors, experts and researchers.
